Unite Fitness Project Expanded Due To Popularity

Ahead of the 2023 International Women’s Day on Wednesday 8th March this week, it’s a timely reminder that there are now three Unite Fitness sessions per week, offering local women the opportunity to improve their physical and mental wellbeing with the Hull FC Community Foundation.

Unite Fitness was launched just over one year ago, with the project going from strength to strength as it has brought local women, regardless of age or ability, closer together.

In addition to the two regular sessions, a third session has now been added to the weekly Unite Fitness timetable, with refreshments and free childcare provided.

This third session will take place at the Route One Youth Club in North Hull on Wednesday mornings (9.30-10.30am), meaning this is how the Unite Fitness schedule looks:

Mondays @ County Road (6-7pm)

Wednesdays @ Route One Youth Club (9.30-10.30am)

Wednesdays @ County Road (6-7pm)

The sessions can be tailored to each individual’s needs, boosting fitness wellbeing levels. Additionally, however, the social aspect of coming together each week has been crucially important for the mental wellbeing of the participants.

On the last week of every month, a different social activity will be delivered at each session, such as art therapy, yoga or nutrition to name a few.
