With the summer holidays in full flow, it’s the last chance to book the kids onto Hull FC’s FREE summer camps this August.
Already in the first few weeks of the school summer holidays, hundreds of local children have already enjoyed Hull FC’s variety of summer camps, including rugby league, multi-sports and dance activities.
With just under three weeks until the kids head back to school, there is still chance to book onto the Hull FC Community Foundation’s remaining summer activities, which are free to attend for those in receipt of free school meals.
Covering a wide area, it’s not just children in Hull that can benefit from the free summer camps, with locations such as Bridlington, Goole and Beverley included in the Community Foundation’s summer programme of activities.
The camps are an exciting opportunity to learn and develop skills like meeting new friends, alongside a nutritious meal each day, while taking part in engaging and enriching activities which support the development of resilience, character and wellbeing along with their wider educational attainment
Most significantly, the camps are free for children who are in the respect of benefit-related free school meals to attend.
Children who are in receipt of free school meals will also be eligible for a free meal when taking part in the various sessions, as we encourage young people to eat healthily over the holidays, while also developing an understanding of nutrition and food budgeting for families.
Please note, parents will be required to confirm that their child is in receipt of free school meals when booking.
