Community Foundation To Support HEY Mind’s ‘Mental Elf’ Run

The Hull FC Community Foundation will once again team up with Hull & East Yorkshire Mind to support their ‘Mental Elf’ run this winter.

On Sunday 3rd December, the city’s second ‘Mental Elf’ run will take place in East Park, Holderness Road, after the Community Foundation helped to launch the concept with HEY Mind last winter.

The run, which covers a 5-kilometre distance, encourages participants to get into the festive spirit at the start of the month of Christmas, by dressing up as elves and raising funds for HEY Mind.

Participants can choose to walk or run the route. The event is open to all abilities and ages, but children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Discounts are available for family and group/corporate teams. Children under 5 are free.

Tickets for the ‘Mental Elf’ run can be booked here.

There will be prizes on the day, especially for those in the best elf costume! There will also range of festive activities for all of the family.

All participants will receive a medal and goody bag at the finish line.

Every ticket sale and donation will generate vital funds to enable HEY Mind to support local adults and young people with their mental health.
