Parkinson’s Active
Parkinson’s Active aims to support people living with Parkinson’s by helping attendees complete exercises to improve their physical and mental wellbeing.
The sessions aim to help build participants’ balance, strength and coordination whilst also connecting with people with shared experiences.
Parkinson’s Active has many benefits:

Sessions help people living with Parkinson’s to be active, feel energised and live well.

Being active with Parkinson’s can help improve mental and physical wellbeing as well as balance, strength and coordination.

The benefits of physical activity while living with Parkinson’s inclue: better muscle and bone strength, improved flexibility and joint mobility, improved balance and a reduced risk of falls, higher energy levels and better sleep, lower stress levels and lower blood pressure.

Option for refreshments and a chat after the session.

Led by exercise instructors who have completed the Parkinson’s UK: physical activity and exercise training course.

Carers welcome to attend.
