Try for Change

At Hull FC, we are incredibly proud of the work our Foundation carries out in the local community. Whether it be through supporting over 2,500 children and young people to take their first steps in rugby league each year through its School Sports Partnership programme or delivering inclusive ‘rugby inspired’ social togetherness opportunities for older people affected by loneliness and social isolation, the Foundation is at the forefront of tackling inequalities across Hull and East Yorkshire. As you would expect, much of the Foundation’s work over the last two years has been on supporting those most affected by Covid-19 and I am pleased to include the following link to their annual report which showcases their success and impact.

Hull FC Community Foundation is entirely self-funded through charitable grants, public-sector commissioning, and the generous support of Hull FC corporate partners. For 2022, the Foundation has developed a unique, cost effective way for businesses to get behind their work and specifically, provide the financial support that will enable the growth of its inclusive playing offers for people living with learning and physical disabilities.

‘Try for Change’ will officially launch at our game Huddersfield Giants on Sunday 20th March and we welcome local businesses to become founding partner. For a minimum donation of £5 per try scored by Hull FC players in the 2022 Betfred Super League season, your company can be a part of this unique corporate social responsibility offer.
