Sessional Sports Coach (Hull FC Community Foundation)

To support the delivery of Hull FC Community Foundation’s development programmes. Delivering high quality rugby and multisport activities within a variety of environments including Schools, Colleges, Rugby League Clubs and Youth Clubs. Ensure all delivery equipment and activities are risk assessed and that young people within provision are safeguarded according to the policies and procedures.

This Ability Project Worker

This-Ability is a £3.79m Big Lottery Funded project covering the Hull and East Riding area.  The project started on 2nd January 2019 and is a 5-year project.

This-Ability will support people aged between 18 – 29years, with learning and physical disabilities/difficulties and long-term health conditions, who are unemployed or economically inactive with the aim of moving them into work.

Humber learning Consortium, Goodwin Development Trust and Hull FC are looking to work together to move at least 40% of young people we work with into employment.

Participants will receive high quality advice, support, and training delivered by Goodwin, Hull FC, This-Ability and its partners. We anticipate that at least 80% of participants will achieve a completed Employability Passport.

This-Ability is built upon principles of coproduction – involving participants in the design and delivery of the services they receive.

This role will involve the delivery of quality guidance and support on a one-to-one basis, reviewing young people’s needs and guiding were appropriate and supporting participants to achieve the overall project outcomes.

Health and Physical Activity Coach

Working closely with the Head of Health and Wellbeing, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting the development of all health and wellbeing provision through the Teaming Up for Health partnership including but not limited to; Match Fit, Energise Club, Unite Fitness, Walking Rugby, and Our Best Years amongst new programmes that will arise because of expanding our offer in line with the new strategy.

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering physical activity and group-based activities to children and young people, men, women and older people. An excellent communicator, skilled in working with integrity, professionalism and discretion, you will possess a good understanding of health inequalities and the ability to work with families around key health issues.
