Visit Hull FC’s Centre Of Excellence Open Day On March 31st

Hull FC’s Centre of Excellence will be hosting an open day on Wednesday March 31st for students interested in joining the club’s rugby, sports and education programmes for the 2021/22 academic year.

The exciting news regarding the club’s Centre of Excellence playing roster for 2021 has been met with an influx rugby students applying for the upcoming academic year.

And it’s not just rugby places too, despite being the first choice in the region for aspiring rugby league players, the programmes also offer opportunities for participants of other sports, including those with an interest in working in sport, sports coaching, personal training and beyond – both male and female students, aged 16-19.

Based at the newly established Centre of Excellence West Campus on Pickering Road, the college welcomes all new applicants to attend an open day on March 31st to gain an insight into the facilities and courses available.

Whether you’re interested in becoming a pro rugby player, sports coach, physiotherapist or strength and conditioner, Hull FC College has a team of experts across the entire sporting industry to assist you in achieving your dreams.

With the opportunity to learn, work and play as a part of the new Centre of Excellence, the balance between theory and practical activities is ideal for students to develop knowledge and experience within the sports industry.

It is also directly aligned to the club’s rugby development pathway from grassroots to first-team, giving students the opportunity to pursue a professional rugby career if they wish – with both elite and recreational playing opportunities available.

Working with high profile education providers, who also partner the likes of West Ham, Leeds United and Leicester Tigers, our education delivery is rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted.

Our teaching staff are also made up of former or current professional sports people who understand the programmes first hand, as well as international standard coaching.
