Community Ambassadors

At Hull FC Community Foundation, we are dedicated to creating lasting, positive change within Hull and its surrounding areas. As the charitable arm of Hull FC, our mission is to harness the power of sport to drive social change, improve health outcomes, and provide opportunities for those who need it most. Since our Foundation launch, we’ve reached thousands of individuals through a diverse range of initiatives, all aimed at improving lives and creating stronger, more resilient communities.

Sport plays a powerful role in this transformation. Through Hull FC’s involvement in the community, we can engage people in meaningful ways that promote inclusion, improve f itness levels, and encourage personal development. The ‘Community Ambassadors’ programme offers an exciting opportunity for local businesses to support these impactful initiatives. Through donations, businesses can contribute directly to the delivery of programmes that make a real difference. From our Schools Programme, which works with over 30 schools annually, to our Dementia and Parkinson’s Programmes, which have provided specialist support to over 150 individuals, the Foundation’s work is touching the lives of people across Hull and East Riding.

Local businesses are crucial to sustaining and expanding these efforts. By joining the ‘Community Ambassadors’ programme, your business will not only help ensure the continued success of these initiatives, but also benefit f rom the increased exposure, networking opportunities, and recognition that comes from supporting a cause that directly impacts the people of Hull and East Riding.

Testimonials

“Hull FC’s Community Foundation have consistently gone above and beyond to help enrich our looked-after children’s childhoods, offering them experiences, providing safe and exciting opportunities on a weekly basis, whilst also giving our wider foster families opportunities for fun, friendship and support.”

Laura Gawthorpe, Hull Fostering

“We are delighted to be able to continue to work with Hull FC Community Foundation. Working in partnership gives us the opportunity to reach people in a way that the NHS alone would not be able to do. Sharing public health messages, developing physical activity programmes and working to combat social isolation are just some of the areas that we will be working together on. It is now more important than ever that all our communities are supported, and this partnership gives us an ideal mechanism to do just that.”
