Hull FC Sports College
Hull FC Sports College provides students an opportunity to gain industry-accredited qualifications while being affiliated to their local professional rugby league club.
Hull FC Sports College offers a variety of bespoke Post-16 and Higher Education qualifications within disciplines such as Sport, Coaching and Fitness. Our courses are delivered from Hull University, and led by our team of qualified teachers, support staff and coaches. Our vocational focused (work-based) qualifications have been designed in conjunction with feedback from employers and industry experts, to help the students develop the skills and qualities that are required to work within the industry. A core focus of the qualifications is to provide practical work-experience opportunities to the students, allowing them to develop and apply the necessary skills needed for direct employment within the industry. This is underpinned by a broad range of academic skills and knowledge, that allows learners to take their first steps within the diverse and ever-changing sporting and digital-media environments.
Student experience is at the centre of everything we do at the college. Our aim is to ensure that students leave our college having achieved academically, engaged with our wide range of opportunities, and most importantly have had a great time while doing so. We believe that student engagement is key to our success, therefore, we strive to create an environment / community that students feel proud of being part of.

Our Facilities
Hull FC moved into the University of Hull training campus in November 2022, with state-of-the-art equipment providing one of the most advanced training facilities in Super League.
The rugby league performance, education and community hub unites Hull FC’s rugby pathways from first team to grassroots for the first time, as well as seeing University of Hull students offered work placements in key fields such as sports science, coaching, analysis and media.
Whilst the first-team use the 4G and grass pitches, along with several other facilities on campus, the facility is shared with a wide range of teams within Hull FC’s Centre of Excellence.
The 4G pitch, which is specifically designed for rugby league, plays host to Hull FC Academy, Reserves, Scholarship and Women’s fixtures. Meanwhile, the club’s Wheelchair team play at the Allam Sport Centre, which is also located on site at the University of Hull.
