The Hull FC Community Foundation is set to launch ‘Back To Netball’ this month, working in collaboration with England Netball to help women who have been out of action in sport get back into the groove of things.
The eight-week programme will run at the Bonus Youth Performance Centre on Monday evenings (6-7pm), beginning on Monday 18th July and running until Monday 5th September.
In a fun and friendly environment, ‘Back To Netball’ is the perfect re-introduction to the sport for participants of all ages and levels of experience.
The sessions are specifically designed to cater for the needs of those who have not played netball for an extended period of time, so we’ll be easing you back into things!
In the middle of the summer season, ‘Back To Netball’ is the perfect way to improve fitness in relaxed and enjoyable environment, whilst being able to mingle with like-minded women.
Maisie Malton, Head of Health & Wellbeing at the Hull FC Community Foundation said: “We have done a few netball activities at our Unite sessions in recent weeks and our participants absolutely love it.
“It’s a great team-bonding exercise and the ladies all come off the court with a big smile on their faces, so I think it leads nicely into the launch of the ‘Back To Netball’ programme.
“I’m really excited to be working alongside England Netball to help deliver these new sessions and I would like to take the opportunity to thank Olivia for her support with the Community Foundation.”
