The Hull FC Community Foundation are giving young adults the chance to ‘Kick Off’ their careers through the re-launch of its traineeships programme.
In partnership with SCL Professional, the twelve-week traineeship programme will take the guise of ‘Kick Off’, with a balance of classroom training and quality work experience to best prepare young adults for the real working world.
‘Kick Off’ will get back underway at the University of Hull on Monday 31st October, with the potential to open up a range of opportunities for trainees, with the opportunity to undertake work experience within one of the following sectors:
- School Sport Assistant Coach
- Community Engagement Officer
- Post 16 Teaching Assistant
- Healthy Lifestyle Assistant
- Media & Marketing
- Retail
- Business Administration
The programme will entail two days of classroom-based learning, whilst the other three days of the week will be taken up by a work experience placement within one of the above sectors.

Subject to learner eligibility, you could qualify for a bursary.
A weekly bus pass will be provided to all learners.
Learner cash bonuses will also be provided at the halfway and final stages of the programme, whilst learners will have the opportunity to redeem a free ticket to Hull FC’s first fixture of the 2023 season and club training merchandise will be provided.
A Traineeship programme could also help you with:

We will be holding an open day at the Hull FC Community Hub, located next to the MKM Stadium, on Friday 21st October (10am-12pm). Drinks and refreshments will be provided.
