Lifestyle, Revitalised: Gym Open Evening Taking Place This Month

The Hull FC Community Foundation will be hosting an open evening to promote upcoming fitness sessions to help local people revitalise their lifestyles.

The exhibition evening for the free gym sessions will give local men and women the chance to explore the facilities on offer, whilst asking our trainers some questions and even offer suggestions of how sessions can be better tailored to each individual participant.

On Wednesday 18th January, the Community Foundation will head to the Elite Performance Centre on County Road, to host an open evening to showcase the sessions that will be running in 2023.

They will include sessions from the Community Foundation’s Unite Fitness and Match Fit programmes, which are similarly structured for both local women and men.

Sessions are adaptable for people of different fitness levels and abilities, whilst external organisations often visit to deliver activities such as yoga, clubbercise and boxercise.

The sessions are all free-to-attend, helping people in the community with the cost of living crisis, especially after the challenging festive period.

A free buffet, teas & coffees will be provided for guests at the open evening, who can also expect a visit from some of Hull FC’s first-team players, who will be able to discuss the importance of fitness.

Ultimately, the open evening is there as a guide to help people who are new to fitness along their journey.

No bookings are necessary for the open evening, with guests invited to turn up whenever.
