Hull FC Foundation’s Walking Rugby participants will head to the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday 5th June for a special showcase event hosted by Warrington Wolves. The group will take part in a friendly Walking Rugby fixture against participants from the Warrington Wolves Foundation, bringing together two growing community programmes that champion activity, inclusion, and the social side of rugby league.

The match will take place on the turf ahead of the Betfred Super League clash between Hull FC and Warrington Wolves, giving everyone involved a memorable opportunity to play under the stadium lights. The evening will also feature involvement from ex‑players and long‑standing supporters of both clubs, helping to strengthen relationships and create new opportunities for future Walking Rugby collaboration.

Walking Rugby at Hull FC Foundation is led by former Hull FC player Lee Crooks and takes place every Friday afternoon at the University of Hull Sports Centre, from 1pm – 2pm. The sessions offer a relaxed, low‑impact version of the sport that welcomes people of all ages and abilities, whether they’re looking to stay active, meet new people, or reconnect with the game.

The showcase will get underway from 6:30pm, prior the first team fixture kicking off at 8pm.
