Hull FC Foundation Announces 2026 Charity Fixture Supporting Life for a Kid and MND

Hull FC Foundation is delighted to confirm the return of its annual Charity Fixture, taking place on Sunday, 13th September 2026, at West Hull Rugby Club, with kick‑off scheduled for 1pm.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, the Foundation is once again teaming up with the respected Life for a Kid charity to support vital community initiatives and improve the lives of young people across the region. This year, the fixture will also proudly raise funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease, supporting ongoing efforts to help individuals and families affected by MND and contributing to research and care across the UK.

This year’s fixture continues to highlight the power of rugby league to inspire, unite and uplift local communities. All proceeds raised on the day will directly support programmes that empower children and young people with diverse needs, as well as the crucial work being done in the fight against MND.

“This fixture has quickly become a meaningful date in our calendar,” said Sam French, Head of Hull FC Foundation. “Last year showed just how much impact we can make when the rugby league community comes together. Partnering again with Life for a Kid allows us to build on that momentum and continue delivering life‑changing support across the region, while also standing alongside those battling MND and supporting the incredible organisations working to make a difference.”

He added: “It’s about more than the rugby. It’s about bringing people together, fans, families, former players and showing how collective effort can create brighter futures. We’re excited to see this event grow year on year.”

As part of the day’s celebrations, several former Hull FC and Super League stars will once again pull on the shirt to represent both the Hull FC Foundation and Life for a Kid All Stars in this special charity day.

“Rugby League All Stars are delighted to be returning for another fixture with Hull FC Foundation,” said Dean Hoggard of Life for a Kid. “Many of our volunteers and players have strong connections to Hull FC, and we’re honoured to be part of a day that raises money for two fantastic causes. We know the incredible work the Foundation delivers, and we’re proud to support it, especially with the addition of raising funds for MND, a cause close to so many hearts.”

Supporters are invited to attend and contribute via a donation on entry to the designated match area. All funds raised will be split between Hull FC Community Foundation programmes, Life for a Kid, and MND support initiatives, helping sustain essential services and research that benefit young people and families across the region.
