Hull FC Foundation is delighted to announce its inaugural Charity Fixture, taking place on Sunday, 14th September 2025, at the University of Hull, with kick-off scheduled for 1PM. This milestone event marks the launch of a new collaborative partnership with the respected Life for a Kid charity, aimed at supporting community-based initiatives and enhancing the lives of young people across the region.
The fixture will spotlight the power of rugby league to inspire, connect and support local communities, with all proceeds going toward life-changing work that empowers young people and improves lives.
“This is an exciting and significant step for the Foundation,” said Sam French, Head of Hull FC Foundation. “It brings together our commitment to Rugby League and our drive to deliver lasting change for young people. Partnering with Life for a Kid strengthens that mission and ensures our work continues to reach those who need it most.”
He added: “It’s not just about what happens on the pitch. It’s about uniting people from every corner of the game, fans, former players, families and showing how collective effort can shape brighter futures. This fixture is the beginning of something bigger for us as a Foundation”
Contributing to the day’s significance, several former Hull FC players will take to the field once again, representing the Foundation in this special charity fixture.
“Rugby league All stars are delighted to have arranged a fixture with Hull FC Foundation,” said Dean Hoggard, Life for Kid. “Rugby League All Stars have always had a good amount of players who previously played for Hull FC and most of our volunteers are Hull FC supporters.
“We know the amazing work that is carried out by the Hull FC Foundation and we are honoured and excited to be invited to take part in a fundraising day for both Hull FC Foundation and Life For A Kid, raising money for two amazing causes.”
Supporters are invited to attend the fixture and contribute via a donation upon entry to the designated match area. All donations will help sustain programmes that support children and young people with diverse needs.
