Alongside the hours of junior camps that the Hull FC Community Foundation will be running throughout the Easter half-term holidays, there will also be an opportunity for girls aged 11-16 to get involved in the Unite Girls camps.
Thanks to funding from The Holiday Activity & Food Programme (HAF), which provides healthy food and enriching activities to a proportion of disadvantaged children in the form of free meals, the Community Foundation will engage with a number of local young girls to help keep them occupied throughout the Easter holidays.
Unite Girls, a bracket of the Community Foundation’s Unite Fitness project, aims to improve the overall wellbeing of local women and girls through a vast range of activities.
The activities scheduled for the latest batch of Unite Girls camps include cooking, trampolining at Gravity, ice skating, bowling, and a visit to the Big Fun play centre.
All of the fun gets underway at the Elite Performance Centre on County Road on Tuesday 4th April (10am-2pm).
Free lunch will be provided for the participants each day.
