Bridge McFarland Strengthen Community Ties Through Foundation Partnership

The Hull FC Foundation is delighted to announce a new partnership with Bridge McFarland LLP, who will proudly support our Physical Disability Rugby League (PDRL) team throughout the 2026 season. This collaboration brings together two organisations with a shared commitment to inclusion, opportunity and championing individuals of all abilities within the local community.

Bridge McFarland, a well‑established law firm with deep roots across Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire, has a long‑standing reputation for supporting community initiatives and promoting positive change. Their decision to partner with the Hull FC PDRL team reflects their passion for helping people thrive, both on and off the field, and their belief in the power of sport to bring communities together.

Mike Swainger, Head of Inclusion at the Hull FC Foundation, expressed his excitement about the new partnership, saying: “We are incredibly proud to welcome Bridge McFarland as our PDRL partners for the 2026 season. Their support means so much to our players and the wider programme, helping us continue to grow and provide meaningful opportunities for individuals with physical disabilities.”

Speaking on behalf of Bridge McFarland, Solicitor Charlotte Dearlove shared why the firm felt compelled to support the PDRL team. She said: “Partnering with the Hull FC Foundation’s PDRL team is something we are incredibly proud of. The team embodies resilience, teamwork and community spirit, and we wanted to play a part in helping them continue to flourish. Supporting inclusive sport is important to us as a firm, and we are excited to be involved in a programme that makes such a positive impact.”

Nicola Evans, Partner of Bridge McFarland also highlighted the significance of the partnership, adding: “We chose to support the PDRL team because we believe in the Foundation’s mission and the difference it makes to people’s lives. The players are inspiring, the programme is impactful and the sense of belonging it creates is something we wanted to champion. We’re thrilled to be part of their journey for the 2026 season.”

The Hull FC Foundation looks forward to working closely with Bridge McFarland over the coming year, expanding on opportunities for players, families, staff and the wider community, while continuing to assist with the growth of the PDRL programme.
