Humber VPP To Support Hub In The Community Project

Hull FC Community Foundation’s relationship with the Humber Violence Prevention Partnership and the Police Crime Commissioner has been handed a boost, with the organisations linking up to support the Hub In The Community project.

Running a number of projects in Hull and the East Riding, the Community Foundation offers a range of free multi-sport initiatives and sessions to engage young people and reduce the risk of them getting involved in violence.

The sessions will now fall under the umbrella of ‘Hub In The Community’, an opportunity for youngsters to attend fun activity sessions on a weekly basis to foster better social interaction amongst the youth of Hull and the East Riding.

Alongside the practical delivery of offering a range of different sports, including football, Rugby to E-Sports, other workshop-based activity is also provided, helping young people in areas such as goal setting, career aspirations, volunteering and leadership skills.
