Hull FC Foundation Welcomes Beverley Travel as latest Community Ambassador

Hull FC Foundation is delighted to welcome Beverley Travel as its newest Community Ambassador, strengthening its commitment to promoting inclusion and accessibility across all areas of its work.

As a Community Ambassador, Beverley Travel will play a key role in supporting the Foundation’s Inclusion teams at Hull FC, including the Girls, Learning Disability Super League (LDSL), Physical Disability Rugby League (PDRL), and Wheelchair teams. These teams showcase the power of inclusive sport by creating opportunities for people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds to take part, compete, and belong as part of the Hull FC family.

Beverley Travel, a trusted local business dedicated to helping people create memories through travel, brings with it a strong commitment to inclusion. Their support will play an important role in helping the Foundation’s projects grow and develop as we head towards 2026, ensuring more people across Hull and the wider region can benefit from getting involved in Rugby League.

Sam French, Head of Hull FC Foundation, shared his excitement about the partnership: “We’re proud to welcome Beverley Travel as our latest Community Ambassador. Their dedication to inclusion mirrors our own values at the Foundation, and their support will help us reach even more individuals and families who will benefit from our programmes. Partnerships like this are vital in ensuring that community sport remains open and accessible to everyone.”

Mike Swainger, Head of Inclusion at Hull FC Foundation, added: “We’re really pleased to have the support of Beverley Travel as we look to strengthen our inclusion programmes into 2026. Their backing will help us to grow our offer and ensure that even more people, regardless of their ability or background, can benefit from the opportunities the Foundation provides.”

Kelly Cheeseman, Director at Beverley Travel, expressed their pride in joining the initiative: “We’re honoured to become a Community Ambassador with Hull FC Foundation and to champion their Inclusion work. As a lifelong FC fan born on the Boulevard, with my dad Tony Roberts running away day coaches for over 50 years, Hull FC has always been in my blood. My own journey into travel began with a trip of a lifetime taking 60 supporters to Australia in 2018, and now we take hundreds every year to Catalans for the fixture of the season. Supporting programmes that ensure everyone can enjoy Rugby League is something we’re incredibly passionate about.”

The Community Ambassadors initiative invites local businesses to partner with Hull FC Foundation and invest in real, life-changing community work. By becoming a Community Ambassador, your company or organisation will:
